ATransit™
ATtransit is a transformation enabling solution, designed and perfected to assist organizations with either business or IT based initiatives that require program management and synchronized investments. The trigger is usually an optimization program (cost, business or IT) or a replacement of a major business component (business model/process change, CRM, billing solution etc.). In the delivery of ATtransit, our reference is the business architecture. This is defined as the overall collection of business components used to operate the company, and include:
• Business processes and their building blocks • Software assets (i.e. homegrown, COTS etc.) • Integration assets (i.e. EAI, interfaces, ETL etc.) • Organization and roles and responsibilities • Specific Problems, Issues and Expectations from each of the above
Success is achieved in steps, when each step is completely covered by both the V2A™ methodology and a pre-configured, pre-loaded instance of the ATLOOKS Studio™ software.
Step 1 - Target business architecture described. In this phase the business and operational goals, as well as possible future needs (i.e. M&A, geographical expansion) are taken into account to create target business architecture. The end-result is a target definition for the entire business spectrum from a business and technology aspect. This is maintained, versioned and visualized using the ATLOOKS Studio™ solution, and is available online to all authorized users. The target business architecture is compared, using ATANOO’s patented algorithm to the relevant industry standard to generate a coherent forward-looking plan.
Step 2 – Current assets survey The As-Is state is captured and analyzed using V2A™ methodical tools. The business architecture is then compared, using ATANOO’s patented algorithms to the target business architecture defined in step 1. ATANOO’s experts then use this comparison to refine and verify current issues, and as a basis for the next step.
Step 3 – Define migration phases, based on business and fiscal priorities, competitive situation, other considerations and the optimal utilization of current and future assets. Via use of our ATLooks Studio™ you may also monitor the progress of each phase in your migration scheme.
